You would think the producers would learn from their mistakes but no. Season seven also had obstacles that were very hard to make just for the sake of tv, and the Wipeout Zone was ruined because if the contestant failed on an obstacle they would just swim to the next one so it became a swimming competition. Season seven also felt more fake and commercialized because of formatting changes and special effects that looked cheap. The original series was cancelled because in season seven there were not two sets of obstacles in the season (Except for the first obstacle in the qualifier which was always different, the sucker punch, and the big balls, there were two different sets of obstacles in the qualifier, two different stets for round two, two-three sets for round three, and two Wipeout Zones for a season, excluding the earlier seasons).

Even though Matt Kunitz, and Scott Larsen who were involved in the original series along with this reboot things got even worse. When I heard that Wipeout was going to be rebooted I thought they would look at the mistakes that were made in season seven and not make the same mistakes again, but no. WIPEOUT returned with new episodes on Tuesday, Januat 9pm ET/PT on tbs. There are so many things wrong with this reboot of Wipeout I have two full pages of notes about the problems with it. On Sunday, Augat 9pm ET/PT, TBS premiered "The Suicide Squad Special," a one-hour WIPEOUT special, with the cast of SUICIDE SQUAD and writer-director James Gunn tackling the course. The series' iconic big balls also make a return, bringing many laughs and surprises along the way for fans.

Each game has been designed into three rounds and now features a three-stage obstacle course consisting of multiple strategy and decision points designed to test the stamina of the competitors. Hosted by John Cena and Nicole Byer, with Camille Kostek serving as field host, the new version of WIPEOUT includes new course elements and format twists that push contestants' athleticism, endurance, and determination to even greater extremes as they fight to win the grand cash prize.
